The Conference, dedicated to regional and international organizations, being one of the most importan youth events in Greece gathered over 400 participants! UN Club members Nemanja Bezarević, Uros Andjelković (President of Model United Nations Committee), Teodora Višnjić (General Secretary) and Sara Petrović (President) were honored to be part of the first delegation from Serbia to participate at such a prestigious students’ event.

The Conference, dedicated to regional and international organizations, being one of the most importan youth events in Greece gathered over 400 participants! UN Club members Nemanja Bezarević, Uros Andjelković (President of Model United Nations Committee), Teodora Višnjić (General Secretary) and Sara Petrović (President) were honored to be part of the first delegation from Serbia to participate at such a prestigious students’ event.

The Opening Ceremony was held at the Palace of the Grand Master of Knights of Rhodes, in old Town and the Conference was formally opened by Greek National Anthem performed by the Band of 95th National Guard Higher Command. Followed by Anthem of Europe and welcoming speeches by partners and supporters of the Conference starting with His Grace the Bishop of Olympus Mr. Kyrillos, on behalf of His All Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartolomew I; Vice-Mayor of Rhodes, Mr. Konstantinos Taraslias; the Council Member for Transparency and e-Government of Aegean Islands Region of South Aegean, Mrs. Charoula Giasiranis; President of the Department of Mediterranean Studies, prof. Aikaterini Frantzi; Member of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dodecanese Mrs. Maritana Alakiotou-Anthopoulou; Commander of the 95th National Guard Higher Command Mr. Nikolaos Flaris; Legal Advisor of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC PERMIS), Mr. Teimuray Antelava; Head of the Organizing Committee and President of the House of Europe in Rhodes Mr. Michael Kavuklis and many other guests.

During the Conference 12 committees of various international organizations were simulated. Our delegates participated in the simulation of the European Court of Human Rights as judges from Germany and Austria, in African Union as a representative of South Africa and in Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation as Japan.
